पिछले कुछ हफ्तों से सोशल मीडिया पर खबरें चल रही है कि गदर 2 की सफलता के बाद सनी देओल ने अपनी फीस बढ़ा दी है. अब वो प्रति फिल्म 50 करोड़ रुपए की तगड़ी फीस लेंगे. इसपर सनी देओल ने एक शो के दौरान कहा कि, “वह (निर्माता) तय करेगा कि वह कितना भुगतान कर सकता है. मैं यह नहीं कहूंगा कि मैं करूंगा या नहीं करूंगा. मैं इस तरह काम नहीं करता. मुझे ऐसे प्रोजेक्ट्स में रहना पसंद है जहां मैं बोझ न बनूं.” बता दें कि मूवी 11 अगस्त को सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज हुई थी. गदर 2 में सनी देओल के अलावा अमीषा पटेल, लव सिन्हा, उत्कर्ष शर्मा, सिमरत कौर, मनीष वाधवा ने मुख्य भूमिका निभाया है.
