सनी देओल और अमीषा पटेल स्टारर गदर 2 साल की सबसे चर्चित और सफल फिल्मों में से एक रही है. अनिल शर्मा द्वारा निर्देशित, यह फिल्म 2001 की लोकप्रिय रिलीज़ गदर की अगली कड़ी थी और इसमें सनी और अमीषा की तारा सिंह और सकीना के रूप में वापसी हुई थी. गदर की तरह गदर 2 को भी दर्शकों ने खूब पसंद किया और फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर कमाल कर रही है. हालांकि शाहरुख खान की ब्लॉकबस्टर, जवान के आने के बाद गदर 2 के प्रदर्शन में गिरावट आई. हाल के दिनों में इसकी लोकप्रियता में गिरावट जारी है. लेकिन, वीकेंड पर एक बार फिर मूवी के कलेक्शन में बढ़ोतरी हुई. अनिल शर्मा की ओर से निर्देशित फिल्म ने 38वें दिन करीब 1 करोड़ की कमाई की. जिसके बाद टोटल कलेक्शन 519 करोड़ हो गया है. गदर 2 लगभग एक महीने से बॉक्स ऑफिस पर टिकी हुई है. फिल्म ने पहले वीकेंड पर 23 करोड़ की कमाई की थी. वहीं दूसरे सप्ताह इसने 8 करोड़, तीसरे वीकेंड पर 7 करोड़, चौथे पर 1 करोड़ की कमाई की थी.

However, the performance of Gadar 2 declined after the release of Shahrukh Khan’s blockbuster, Jawan. Its popularity has continued to decline in recent times. But, once again the collection of the movie increased over the weekend. The film directed by Anil Sharma earned around Rs 1 crore on the 38th day. After which the total collection has become 519 crores. Gadar 2 has been stalling at the box office for almost a month. The film had earned Rs 23 crore on the first weekend. It earned Rs 8 crore on the second week, Rs 7 crore on the third weekend and Rs 1 crore on the fourth.
