World Soil Day 2022:Why is it observed,know history,theme and importance.
WORLD SOIL DAY is observed every year by the United Nations Food and Agriculture organisation(FAO) to raise awareness about the importance of soil.And this day is celebrated on 5 th december every year.
Soil is the uppermost layer of lithosphere which contain humus which is good for plant growth.
The special occasion of World Soil day coincides with the birth anniversary of the Thailand king named H.M King Bhumibol

World Soil Day (WSD) is held annually on 5 December as a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and to advocate for the sustainable management of soil resources.
